Yes, this is incredibly disappointing news, but yelling on Twitter in English isn& #39;t really going to do much to make our voices heard to the Japanese branch of the company.

Here& #39;s how you can send a message to SEGA of Japan directly:

[Thread] https://twitter.com/SEGA_OFFICIAL/status/1386928722868019200">https://twitter.com/SEGA_OFFI...
On SEGA of Japan& #39;s website, http://sega.jp"> http://sega.jp , the "Contact Us" option is at the top of the website. It& #39;s the third link - highlighted on this image. Alternatively, you can go to it directly by going to http://sega.jp/contact .">https://sega.jp/contact&q...
While you& #39;re there, towards the bottom of the page, a category labeled "Opinions on SEGA" (highlighted) can be found, in between company information and eSports inquiries. This is specifically intended for general feedback, so submit it here.
This is the page that option will bring you to. Input your email address in the top box, your subject line in the middle, and your feedback message in the bottom, then check the privacy policy tick under that. All of these are required to be filled in to send a message.
The message will obviously have to be in Japanese. If you don& #39;t speak it, you& #39;ll have to use machine translation software to compose your message. You should send a message that mentions that NFTs are harmful to the environment, and that SEGA should consider not selling them.
Machine translation is far from perfect, but it should get the general idea across, and will let you read the message they send you afterwards.

Once you have filled your message in and accepted the privacy policy, click the blue button to send it to the support team.
You& #39;ll be taken to a new page after you send the message. There& #39;s nothing to do here - it simply is confirming that your message was sent successfully.

Shortly afterwards, you& #39;ll recieve an email in Japanese that should look something like this, confirming the message was sent.
There& #39;s no guarantee this will make SEGA reconsider this collaboration, but this is the most we can really do about this. We can hope that enough emails providing a warning about the damage NFTs can cause will make the higher-ups reconsider, but we can only hope that will happen.
Here is the message I sent, in English (was machine translated to Japanese before being sent):
