WHAT IVE FOUND ON COSM- A THREAD
all this info has been saved and fact checked by me, but you can do the same with simple Google searches.
I didn't discover most of this info, but I did feel it needed to be compiled as so much info is being deleted both of socials and the web

1. An individual who is a part of our art community worked for years as a COSM employee. She was paid only $50 a week, and when she became injured they basically threw her out with no help in winter in NY.
2. This is not a unique story- they underpay or don't pay their....

Employees at all.
2. Multiple accounts of emotional and verbal abuse, including telling artists they should no longer pursue art at their art retreats, making people feel inadequate, and one account said Allyson actually grabbed thus individual and shook her w no repercussions

3. Alex openly admits to tax evasion on the Joe Rogan podcast. I remember watching that podcast, don't you? As of yesterday, ALL traces of that podcast were removed from Joe Rogan's website, YouTube, everywhere I could think to look. Deleted.

Now let's get into money.
4. It costs money to be a part of their 'church'. How much? $100 per year. Please be reminded that COSM claims to be an interfaith CHURCH on their website. It is very unlike a place to require a membership place just to 'worship' or in this case...

5. THIS IS SUPER INTERESTING- estimates on Alex Grey's net worth keep it well below 1 mil (0.2m to be exact.) What's Allison's net worth? Somewhere between 1 and 5 million. She is the richest painter in America.

In 2021 Allysons net worth jumped dramatically to 14 mil according to the latest info. That's millions of dollars that went into Allyson's pockets.

So just to really drive that one home- Alex Grey, the incredible one honestly, makes 200k a year. LAST YEAR ALLYSON GREY MADE 14 MILLION

And that's untaxed income, because they're a church, remember???

So let's get into their practices as 'spiritual' people who are, in their own words, 'honoring the practice of art as a spiritual path.

Spoke about having nightmares about many of them. Dripping in blood, eating their own vomit, deformed fetuses... death was a huge focus of their earlier 'works'- with Allyson behind the lense for a lot of it. Which makes you wonder if the ideas were Allyson's after all.

Jump back to now-
Allyson uses a book called the 48 laws of power to essentially rule over CoSM. Multiple accounts state she carries it around like a Bible. Here are the 48 laws:

Enrique Toller, the Proud Boys leader that stormed the Capitol building. Also, it's a very popular book in prisons.

Okay so this is where shit for me got deep and weird and scary.
Did you know Alex and Allyson have a daughter named Zena?
And did you know that their daughter, Zena Lotus Grey, became a NICKELODEON TV STAR IN 2000.

I think a lot of us know what's up in the child-stars-of-nickelodeon realm. But WHY was their daughter put through that, at the age of 12? It seems very out of character for them, to want their child to be a TV star.

Also, why did I not know they had a daughter til now??? Her account is private, and there's little to no information available about her on the internet past her Nickelodeon days in the early 2000s. Also strange? On the internet, she's an actor. On her socials, she's an artist...

So now, let's talk about Adi Da. Alex has painted many pieces in honor of him. But who was he?

Adi Da was a cult leader born in New York that lived at the same time Alex and Allyson were making art, and had a close relationship with them. You can look into him if you'd like. Anyway, he died in 2008- the same year the Church of Sacred Mirrors was established.

Adi Da underwent numerous name changes during his lifetime. He also was reported dead in Fiji, by his devotees. Do with this info what you will- I believe Adi Das is still alive and loving at COSM.

More on mistreatment of employees at COSM-
a disabled individual requested a job at COSM after working there for free... she was simply told 'people like you can't work here'. The next day, they called her in (a physically disabled individual) to vacuum and do dishes, knowing....

That this would be extremely difficult for her. The individual expressed how embarrassing and degraded she felt after the experience.

It's a long read but please be reminded we have to accept that Alex Grey and Adi Das were very close. In the painting Alex did of him, symbolism suggests Adi Das in a Godhead position, possibly showing some kind of transition of power symbolised by the illuminated right hand

More on the painting of Adi Das- he has a crown of 12 serpents around his head. The serpent/snake is a symbol of rebirth and immortality, 12 symbolizing authority and perfection. So basically, Alex has depicted Adi Das, a crazy man who was addicted to Viagra, as God for real.

In regards to immortality... the painting was made in 1997. Also In 96/97, the non-profit Chapel of Sacred Mirrors was established. (This is separate from the Church of Sacred Mirrors, which was formed in 2008, the same year Adi Da died)

Random fact- COSM doesn't allow service animals on their property. That's just fucked up what the fuck MOST OF THEIR PROPERTY IS WALKING TRAILS.
