Thread - How to get USDT (liquid) from fiat in my bank while keeping fees to minimum? I recently borrowed 150 000 SEK from my dad and have now converted it to L-USDT in my HWW. Here is how I did it (1/5) ->
2/5
1. Deposit EUR to @krakenfx using SEPA transfer (Fee = Free).
2. Purchase USDT with EUR. (Fee = 0.2% or ~29 EUR)
3. Transfer USDT (ERC20) to Bitfinex (Fee =2.5 USDT) ->
3/5
Withdraw USDT (Liquid) from @bitfinex to my own wallet (Fee = Free). I use a @Ledger Nano S with @Blockstream green as my interface to manage @Liquid_BTC assets (L-BTC, L-USDT). ->
4/5
Total fees ended up ~37 USD (0,21%) and I ended up with 17636 USDT (liquid) in my self custody HWW. I switched currency two times SEK -> EUR -> USDT and network once USDT (ERC20) -> USDT (Liquid). Most of the fee was the stablecoin purchase. Now beat this and tell me how?
5/5
Plan is to lend the USDT (Liquid) on @hodlhodl for 12 months and then reverse process in this thread to get the SEK (swedish krona) back to my dad. It will be interesting to see how much of an arbitrage I can generate including all fees and transfers.
My offers can be found at @hodlhodl here. Lending between 7000-17630 USDT (liquid) 6-11 months. https://lend.hodlhodl.com/users/StateSpace
And now all of it 17635 USDT (liquid) is locked into a contract @hodlhodl. 22.5% interest over 10 months, corresponding to 27% APR. I promised my dad 7% over 12 months. So this is a decent arbitrage! #liquidnetwork @Liquid_BTC
