This school is making it so difficult for my 9yo to fast. Please pray for her you guys.

First they went MUST DO PE coz & #39;curriculum& #39; - never mind that they missed PE half the year coz of lockdown, in Ramadan curriculum needs to be enforced.

I told the headteacher she& #39;ll be fasting and the woman scowled and went "HAS SHE GOT HER PERIOD?" Firstly my child has a right to fast whether or not it& #39;s & #39;obligatory& #39; and secondly I don& #39;t follow a school that says fasting is obligatory for girls only once they start periods!

And now got a text apparently they have & #39;forest school& #39; and will be out all day "whatever the weather", and kids should bring a water bottle. The school is so oblivious it& #39;s not even funny. They have all summer to organise forest school and they do it in Ramadan.

Before fasting started apparently one of the teachers told kids they HAVE to do PE so "it& #39;s better not to fast". Hello? who tf are you to tell Muslim children that it is or isn& #39;t better to fast?? Every day she feels pressured because they won& #39;t just let her practice her faith.

To make things worse this school is 97% Muslim! And I& #39;m pretty sure the management is 100% white! And they& #39;re here telling Muslim children whether they should or shouldn& #39;t fast! Allah help our children for real. May Allah bless those who are fasting and make it easy for them.
