my brother has done acid at least a couple times and im not sure if this is necessarily the case w him but i know that for ppl who are genetically predisposed to mental illnesses acid can bring them out, and considering how miserably depressed he is i wouldnt be surprised if his

serotonin receptors are just fried. which actually might b part of the reason that his meds dont work for him- he's on an NDRI and not an SSRI, so that wouldnt help w/ serotonin, plus he's on adderall so combining that with the NDRI just dysregulates the other 2 "happy chemicals"

ok this is definitely the kind of thing that i shpuld hve a priv for like i doubt anyone is looking at these but it feels weird to just have this be theoretically available to anyone who looks at my account lol

but arjfhglskbd like. i feel like the things i said in this thread are potentially like. fairly important and even if his psychiatrist doesnt know that hes done acid i feel like the combination of the stuff hes on and the fact that hes still so depressed can/should be addressed..
