And i watched the BBC press conferences all through March and half of April.

End of April 2020 when "just 3 weeks" kept getting stretched and it looked like lie after lie, and excuse after excuse, and NO ONE was straight w us about how long this was actually likely to go on for, I expanded my twitter follows to include people I would ordinarily never.

And that's when I discovered the counting errors that Carl Heneghan made the ONS etc fix

And when no one was sick or dying that I knew beyond a few people in April but the excuses dragged on and on

And the unions prevented up kids going back to school

Then I guess you could say I went dark side.

I turned the TV off.
I turned the radio off.
I stopped reading the guardian.

I subscribed to the telegraph because they were the only paper willing to hold anyone to account.

And over time I cut my labour card up and quit the party.

It boils down to honesty not spin.

Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, etc are liars.

The press, the fourth estate are NOT doing their job.

No one is asking the questions thay need to be asked.

No one is talking about the things that need to be spoken of.

When govt ministers want to keep control, they act like we don't have a jab.

MSM gives airtime to the zero covid winners who act like we haven't got a jab and even if we did, it doesn't do anything, I'd we need to stay locked down.

That is more antivax than telegram memes.

Until MSM can be straight with people, you will lose and conspiracy theory will flourish.

I am anti lockdown. Not because I read Mike Yeadon but because I read DistrictAI and Hold2LLC who can do data analysis better than most in the UK and I see that lockdowns and masks are not helping.

I read FedericoAndreLois and see that actually it redistributes infections --

to those who can't cope with them.

So there's a lot more going on than you think.

I would have been at the rally Saturday because I am vehemently anti coercion and anti vax passports. You cannot mandate something that can harm someone for life. I was busy and couldn't go.

I'm learning to separate good faith actors from bad ones and it is a process. Some data analysis on twitter has been poor but it has all been more honest than Whitty and Valance's graphs of doom back in October that lied.

When the advisors lie, there's no one left to trust.

So the point I'm trying to make is

When the govt lies, the govt loses peoples trust

When MSM lies or omits details, or fails to ask questions or only asks for more/harder restrictions, MSM loses people's trust

And people go elsewhere

And not everyone can discern

It's not your job to control the narrative by screenshottijg and smearing and fact checking and debunking.

It's your job to present the truth. All of it.

Present the truth and we will trust you. Earn our trust.

Lie to us, by omission, and we won't.
