The iPad Mini fits in the pocket of my jeans.

That’s not merely an observation. It transforms how it’s used and what it’s used for.

My iPad Pro was a carry item. That drastically limited how often I took it with me.
It required a bag or sleeve. And if I was going to take a bag, for most things a MacBook was a better option.

I only bought the iPad Mini for reading. I’m wondering if it could be more, because of its portability.
I’ll keep you posted.
I didn't think I'd be updating this quite to soon, but I put the idea into action, at a local coffee shop.

It's not *quite* as mobile as I thought.

Yes, the iPad Mini fits in my jeans. Including its case. BUT it's not very comfortable & I overlooked something important...
I also need to carry my phone, change, Apple Pencil, car fob, house keys etc. PLUS, reading glasses.

Yes, this works fine with a jacket. But not in jeans and a Tshirt.

So it's way more portable than my iPad Pro, but not perfect.
Right now, with the cooler spring weather, this is no problem. However, for a couple of months in England, the weather's often too hot for a jacket / coat.

All-in-all, it will be great for 10 months of the year...
When the warmer weather comes, I'll see how *ideal* the device is.

PS: Yes, I know I can grab a bag for it, but that's exactly why the iPad Pro spent most of its time on my studio desk. May as well bring a MacBook. (see start of thread).
