BJP MP from Maharashtra Dr. Sujay Vikhe Patil had reportedly procured 10,000 Remdesivir injections from ‘confidential sources’ & brought them in a private jet to distribute in Ahmadnagar.

Correction* matter was heard briefly yesterday and next hearing is on 29th.

Update: HC directed Police to trace the Remdesivir boxes unloaded by Sujay Vikhe Patil at Shirdi airport saying "We make it clear that we will not tolerate any excuse about any CCTV footage being lost or loss of any details of the chartered/ private aircraft land"

The HC also pulled up Ahmadnagar Dst. Collector for trying to protect the accused by holding a press conference praising him.
"we do not think that we would have any confidence in his [DM's] role in the investigation"
