#Breaking: Human Rights Watch has just released a 213-page report that finds that Israeli authorities are committing crimes against humanity of apartheid & persecution against Palestinians - to maintain the domination by Jewish Israelis over Palestinians.

Israeli authorities have committed a range of abuses against Palestinians: sweeping movement restrictions in the form of the Gaza closure and a permit regime, confiscation of more than a third of the land in the West Bank, forcible transfer of Palestinians out of their homes.

Denying millions of Palestinians their fundamental rights solely because they're Palestinian is a deliberate design of the system that is meant to perpetuate the repression of Palestinians.

While much of the world treats Israel’s half-century occupation as a temporary situation that a decades-long ‘peace process’ will soon cure, the oppression of Palestinians has reached a threshold & a permanence that meets the definitions of the crimes of apartheid & persecution.

APAN welcomes this critical report, and whilst its findings come as no surprise to Palestinians who have been using this language for decades, we hope this will compel the international community to act now & urgently.
