Every business owner would rather see you break the rules to make money,

than see you hesitate in your moral dilemma.

If you want to stand out, be willing to break the rules for the bottom line.

You’ll be punished publicly. But loved privately. Which is what counts.
This will be regarded as “bad advice” to those who operate on a moral high ground,

(albeit having little understanding of what morality actually means),

but truth is,

as a man, if you want to “get things done” or achieve the “numbers” no one else can,

you have to break rules.
Owners will always claim that they are all about doing the right thing,

but even those with the highest integrity will do things to increase their bottom line.

And that’s because businesses are amoral. Transactional.

And the best occupy both;

amorality with integrity.
It’s within my own observation that almost all employees “protect” customers/clients at the expense of the owner,

claiming a righteous moral authority in how they approach their work.

In reality, they are just bitter & resentful that they don’t get the dough.

Pseudo-morality.
If you’re smart, and have the ability to set your emotions aside,

operate for the bottom line.

Break rules if you have to. Then apologise and move on.

The owner will immediately recognise you for your efforts to protect the business.
Be in a position where the bottom line of the business happens to be your only concern.

Let the other socialist pseudo-moralistic employees concern themselves with “customers”.

This is by far; the easiest way to stand out for recognition.
You will also find, what best serves the bottom line, will end up best serving the customers.

This is something employees will never understand.

Once you really explore the business ratios, profit becomes all about how to best deal with customers/clients.
Don’t be stupid and take this advice to the extreme.

There are obviously laws that should not be broken.

If hiding something under the rug sticks out, don’t attempt to level it. That’s a rule that should not be broken.
