2. The thoughts & ideas, religiously-anchored or otherwise, of the PM affect us all. They are fair game 4 critiquing when they so clearly affect the way he sees his role as PM & the way he conducts himself in that role. #auspol

3. The PM has said society wld b pretty sick without faith. This is insulting to good people who don't share his beliefs. 4. The PM exhorts attendees to "build community" - this is code 4 evangelise/make converts. Again, entirely unacceptable in his position as PM. He also says the country needs the church. Is this now policy? We deserve to know. #auspol

5. Last yr the PM committed the nation 2 his god in an online prayer session from PM's office. It is clear he is incapable of separating his religious beliefs from his role as PM. This is of public interest & he shld b prepard 2 answer all & any questions about it. #auspol

6. His govt's policies fly in the face of his assertion that every Australian is important. It is not unwarranted 2 call out the rank hypocrisy he displays b4 an adoring & unquestioning crowd. #auspol

7. In summary, religious beliefs deserve no more protection from critiquing & criticism than do non-religious, political, philosophical ideas, ESPECIALLY when they're espoused by the Prime Minister & journos who won't question him about them do us an enormous disservice. #auspol
