San Francisco government has over 2,000 employees making over $250k per year.

For context on "SF cost of living" -- most SF tech workers make ~$150k.

Startup CEOs typically don't make over $200k until after their Series B (usually providing jobs for about 100 people at that point).

I'm astounded by these numbers.
SF's budget has doubled in the past 10 years.

Our streets are filled with potholes, we have hundreds (soon to be thousands) dying of overdoses, we have 8000 people living in the streets, and business vacancies all over town.

What exactly is going on?
I'm not angry that our government's employees are making that kind of money (paid for by taxpayers and businesses)

I'm angry that our public servants are living lavishly while people are dying in the streets.
