in all seriousness, the company is called CutCo (sometimes Vector.) it’s a pyramid scheme. if they text you to join, block them. if you see them on a job posting site, report the posting. don’t get sucked into it. i almost did and i’m very educated on scam tactics. please RT. https://twitter.com/thedigitaldash_/status/1386715773956149256
if a company requires you to purchase product in order to “become a seller,” or if you need to recruit more sellers (“get 5 friends to buy product and sell it”) in order to make money, it’s a pyramid scheme... a scam. a lot of people don’t know and it can literally bankrupt you.
examples of common pyramid schemes:
• herbalife
• lularoe
• mary kay
• cutco
• amway
• nu skin
• american income life

if you’d like to check if a company is a pyramid scheme before you get involved with them, here’s a great resource: https://isthisanmlm.com

stay safe!!
another problem with pyramid schemes is that they prey on united states immigrants and undocumented people, selling the idea of “being a small business owner” to “achieve the american dream.”

this shit disproportionately destroys the lives of marginalized people.
for those who want to learn more about how to spot this kind of scam before you get involved, here’s a great video!
and here’s a @VICE documentary about Lularoe. it’s really interesting but also a difficult watch, so be warned
