I got stuck paying more for an older iPhone I got brand new through them than a brand new iPhone 12 because the special amount they told me I’d pay and set me up for wasn’t “valid” for my account. Didn’t get a letter for the balance until a day after the return period ended.
call customer service and they tell me all they can do is waive the upgrade fee (which I wasn’t supposed to get in the first place).
twenty years I’ve had this number with them, and they can’t trade my phone in (that they lied to me about the price for in the first place) for a newer phone that is the same price anyway?
I will delete this thread soon enough but I needed a cathartic release from the absolute hell fire fury they’ve put me through for the past 4 hours.
