If you missed TSLA's earnings, the highlight was @elonmusk sharing in the call that he thinks Tesla's Model Y will become the top-selling vehicle of any kind in 2022 or 2023.

World's top-selling car currently is Corolla at 1.5m units/year.

If Tesla can sell 1.5m Model Ys and 500k Model 3 (+ S/X), that would be 2M cars/year in 2022 or 2023, more likely 2023.

Here's what 500k vehicles/quarter could like like in earnings.

This is without Cybertruck and Semi... which could add up to 500k vehicles/year combined when fully ramped.

Once Tesla reaches 2m vehicles/yr then they can release their $25k vehicle with the possibility of ramping that vehicle to 10m vehicles/yr over time.
