Trying to clean up the mess made by Trump's lies is a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it. It's like cleaning up poo flung around at the zoo which is now stuck to a bunch of surfaces.

Let's talk election again. This time, let's look at the counties that flipped. In detail.

Trump and the people who lie for him claimed that there were election irregularities, or, in their simplistic nomenclature, a "steal." His campaign specifically challenged the election results in six states - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

If you look at the election at the county level, you'll see that Biden flipped 63 counties and Trump flipped 15 counties.

26 of the 63 counties that Biden flipped were counties with a population of 100,000 or more. Only 2 of the 15 counties Trump flipped had 100k+ populations.

But since Trump claimed fraud in the six states mentioned (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), let's first take a look at all the counties flipped in the OTHER states - the ones where Trump didn't allege fraud.

Biden flipped a lot there too.

And if you look at the states that Trump claimed were "rigged," you'll see that most of the movement of counties in those states went mostly from red to blue. Trump flipped a small county (Burke) in Georgia from blue to red.

Trump, his lying attorneys and the other people who lie for him put a company, Dominion Voting Systems, through hell by inventing lies about their voting software. They're rightfully suing those people now and I hope they get every penny they all have.

The amazing thing I discovered when looking at the county level data, after listening to months of conspiracy theories, is this:

Only a small percentage of the counties that Biden flipped even USE Dominion Voting Systems. Specifically, only 15 of the 63. Not even the biggest 15.

29 of the 63 counties Biden flipped are counties that Obama and Biden won in 2012 but which Trump managed to flip in 2016. Biden won these counties back in 2020.

And 22 other of the 63 counties Biden flipped are counties in which Democrats have done better two elections in a row. In other words, they did better in 2016 than in 2012 and better in 2020 than in 2016.

Also, a good number of the counties which Biden flipped are among the larger counties in their respective states. This helped Biden tip some of these states blue. And 3 of the 5 states Biden flipped were states Obama and him won in 2012 but which Trump narrowly won in 2016.

In contrast to Biden, who flipped counties in both blue and red states, 13 of the 15 counties that Trump flipped were in red states. 13 of the 15 had fewer than 20,000 total votes. More than half of them are small counties in south Texas.

One correction here: only 2 of the 15 counties that Trump flipped had 100,000 or more TOTAL VOTES CAST in the 2020 Election. I did not run the population numbers except for ranking the counties within the state. https://twitter.com/thevaluesvoter/status/1386816070405734400

But, back to calling out Trump’s flying poo, which most of us recognize as lies. Look at some of these places.

Trump did not claim that Kansas was rigged (after all, he won it and he only claimed “steal” where he lost). But Biden flipped three of the state’s most populous counties. And, even though there is no truth to Rudy’s claims about Dominion, these counties didn’t even use it.

Trump had no issues with Florida's election. After all, he won the state and did better statewide in 2020 than he did in 2016. But Biden still flipped three large counties - Pinellas, Duval and Seminole. And not even Obama won Duval and Seminole in 2012. And no Dominion either.

Neither Trump or his lackeys had any issue with Indiana's election. Yet Biden flipped Tippecanoe County, which Trump won in 2016 and Romney won in 2012. And they can't even use Sidney Powell's conspiracy theory (which will cost her money) - the county doesn't use Dominion.

Trump was plenty fine with North Carolina's election results although he only won it by the tip of his toupee. The entire state doesn't use Dominion. And Biden flipped New Hanover and Nash Counties. Not even Obama won New Hanover County in 2012.

Biden also flipped Teton County, Idaho, Grand County, Utah and Albany County, Wyoming. All of which were won by both Trump in 2016 and Romney in 2012. And none of which used software from the voting vendor Trump's lawyers lied about and falsely claimed changed votes.

(At some point, Trump's #MAGA Cult should start contemplating the unthinkable possibility. The possibility that their hero kinda sucks as a political leader and that they're the only ones in the world who really love him. But they won't).

And in the reliably blue states, which like the states Trump won are states that Trump's campaign didn't contest, Biden flipped counties that had been pretty red. Inyo County, California hadn't voted for a Democrat since 1964. In 2020, though, it voted for Biden.

Joe Biden was the first Republican to win Frederick or Talbot County, Maryland since Lyndon Johnson won them in 1964. Same thing with Morris County, New Jersey (which only went blue three times since 1896. That's EIGHTEEN ninety-six).

And to revisit the cuckoo conspiracy front once more, 2 of the 15 counties that Trump managed to flip, counties that were solidly blue just eight years ago but which Trump managed to win in 2020, used software made by, guess who? Dominion.

Maybe they're not biased against Trump.

These are Burke County, Georgia and Alamosa County, Colorado. Two specs of new red belonging to states where the population centers are solidly blue. Trump didn't generally do well in places where lots of people live.

Biden flipped counties in 30 different states (AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, ID, IL, IN, KS, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MT, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI and WY). Including in 12 states that Trump won.

Trump flipped counties in 6 different states (CO, GA, NC, OH, SC and TX). Including in two states, CO and GA, which Biden won.

The median number of votes cast in counties Biden flipped: 86,122.

The median number of votes cast in counties Trump flipped: 10,944.
