Need to catch up on what happened on apportionment today?

Well, here are the top lines in a handy map format thanks to @allontheline showing which states are gaining or losing seat(s) in Congress or vote(s) in the Electoral College
Remember: the goal of reapportionment is fair representation.

@allontheline will engage with the public at every step of the redistricting process to hold map makers accountable to actually achieve that goal.

This is especially important in states gaining or losing seats.
Of course, in TX, we have to make sure the process is fair and transparent. You can help by making sure #HB3112 gets a hearing. Call your TX Rep! https://twitter.com/allontheline_tx/status/1386788853516836865
In CO, as reported in @ColoradoSun: @ElMarco_Antonio states that " @allontheline_co strongly believes that CO’s new congressional district should be located in the Front Range Urban Corridor...[which] would provide fair representation to the state’s various communities."
In NC, the new district should be in Wake County and NC voters. It's also pretty clear that Either party should be able to win half of the congressional seats in a good year, given a fair, competitive map.

Note: she says FL's "congressional map should be used as a benchmark map when the legislature begins to draft new maps, while taking into account population changes, such as Florida's population growth along the I-4 Corridor between Tampa and Orlando." https://twitter.com/allontheline_fl/status/1386792286449770496
There's a host of ways to get involved in Ohio, check out this thread of how to join in with @allontheline_oh to get the redistricting process kickstarted in the Buckeye State.

Shoutout to @CarrieCoisman for organizing a great program there!
Of course, you can always just join and follow @allontheline for other opportunities to get involved. But don't take it from me, take it from this guy: https://twitter.com/BarackObama/status/1386801123076489224
Oh! Can't forget about Montana, which is gaining a seat! Historically, when MT had two seats the map had an East/West configuration. Write an LTE to make sure that configuration, which respects the mountain and plains regions and differences comes back: https://act.newmode.net/action/aotl-montana-lte
BTW: so many great @allontheline staffers helped to make these tools, posts and graphics from @RedTRaccoonV2 to @reeddudley to @katiejevin to @MargaretHynds @mollyemitchell @fabiola5rod @pnrodenbush @lizmwester and so many more.
