Rebuild under ten hag how I’d like us to set up (and a link to a video at the end that explains his style of play) my number 1 choice now nagelsmann is off the Bayern:

GK - we need someone who’s good with his feet and can play as a sweeper, with Hugo’s future looking in doubt I’d love us to go get onana, banned for a decent part of the season I’m aware but ten hag knows him well + long term well worth it, get Johnstone to cover till he’s back

Rb - funnily enough I actually think serge would be perfect under ten hag and how he wants his teams to play, with that said with his contract in its final year + PSG sniffing around its best to plan for life without, Aaron’s would be my first choice

Centre half - trying to be somewhat realistic I’ll only add two in reality I’d want 4/5 new ones lol, on the right Andersen, premier league proven, good passer, solid overall, left side botman, pool have got Konate so this should be our main focus, so talented

Left back - need to do nothing this summer here, Reguilon suits the role perfectly and sessegnon after a solid season in Germany is more than enough cover would like to see cirkin loaned tho

Dm - højbjerg and skippy going to have a lot of games with some form of Europe (hopefully) so need both, højbjerg shown tiredness the last few games but with no cover having to play fatigued it’s not a shock, skipp would be the perfect cover

8 - ndombele is absolutely exceptional, sometimes feel I’m watching a different game to some (not that I’m right of course) but ndombele is so good and that’s in a non possession dominant team next season even better, gravenberch 18 ten hag knows well, would be a great addition

10 - already got the perfect ten hag player in dele, the lad gets a lot of hate but in this system with how many chances we’d create and a full pre season? You’ll see the real dele back, similar to VDB (struggling in a different state to) Olise would be great competition tho

RW -assuming we could get Olise who can play there aswell all I’d do is get bale back on loan and keep it going, ten hag got 45 year old Tadic ripping teams to shreds I’m sure bale will be fine, bergwijn again gets another season for me his first full season worse have had longer

Striker - Kane simple again ten hag had huntelaar (73) and haller banging in goals, so the thought of Kane under him? Beautiful every decent source said he’s staying so worry about replacing in a year, ten hag likes a big number 9 aswell so love to see etete involved

Lw - son, got a fair deal of criticism not all unjustified but still his numbers speak for themselves, get the lad a new deal and get him in a system that creates!!!! Also give Scarlett plenty of minuets to the lads “going right to the very top” as arry would say

That’s 7 () summer signings IN and not a HUGE spend on the players (rough prices below) and could easily fund that by selling deadwood/ fringe players, listed 3 youth players I think ten hag should try next season I do want to see a bigger focus on it next year
