Hiii so I post stuff like this as a joke a lot & I'm applying for some things but also putting this into the twitter universe just in case: I've realized it's very in my interest rn to get a gig writing regularly about security, politics & changing geographies of power in Mexico!
My ongoing investigative projects are becoming increasingly untenable for me to continue as a freelancer, because of money & security--my own & that of my sources. I trust my instincts enough, though, to realize that it's urgent reporting that needs to get out there.
So if anyone wants to hire a very scrappy 27-year-old investigative journalist who is frequently mistaken for a teenager & has spent the last five years learning how to get anyone in Mexico to tell her anything, to cover security, corruption & politics in Mexico, holla at me :)
