I'm every bit as excited about the Caufield era as everyone else, even if the season may be lost, but let me rant about Milan first. I know how the next few months (and years) will go for this club.
We're no selling club but due to FFP and potential transfer requests, it wouldn't shock me if Kessié & Bennacer are gone in the near future along w/ Gigio & Hakan.

We'll fire Pioli but *checks notes* Ivan Juric will replace him bc Allegri, Sarri and Spalletti got better offers.
Because no big name wants to come here (given the directionlessness and the fact that fans turn on players quickly, why would they?) we have to gamble on U23 guys outside of the league and mediocre UEL-level starters/rotation players to get us Top 4. A plan doomed to fail.
Juric's limitations get exposed but are also compounded by shoddy roster construction, and after inevitably missing out on Top 4 he'll be replaced by *checks notes* Walter Mazzarri and a big-time executive may face the axe too. The cycle continues.
We're the Minnesota Wild of European football. Except Wild fans will enjoy Kaprizov, Rossi, Fiala and Boldy for a long time.
