Yoon Yeo-Jung said in a Korean interview after the Oscars that Plan B didn't give Minari enough funds to work with so she had to use her own money to upgrade her flights back and forth between America and Korea.

She specifically asked "where were you during filming?" to Brad Pitt during her acceptance speech because he was a producer on Minari and Plan B is his company. She was being cheeky & she said asked him to better fund his future films when she walked off the stage.

So it's ridiculous that this is being framed in Western media as "omg Yoon Yeo-Jung fangirls Brad Pitt how relatable!!!"

The fact that an American reporter literally asked her how Brad Pitt smells and she answered "I'm not a dog"... I love her.

Frankly, I don't have strong opinions about Brad Pitt and Plan B so you can stop @-ing me in their defense because I don't care - I just wanted to point out that the American media framing her reaction as "fangirling" is wrong given her Korean interviews.
