not gonna spread the holiday inn worker video, but the fact that anyone can claim to care about mental health advocacy and not see the guy who recorded it as the bad guy is staggering to me
(i also get the urge to QT ratio people posting it uncritically, but honestly, it’s best not to give the video any more visibility than it’s already gotten)
if you’re finding out about the video via my post, genuinely don’t bother searching for it. it’s not something you need to see.

it’s a customer filming a hospitality worker having a mental crisis that should never have been made public, and it will just make you incredibly sad.
gotta say, i expected some dumb fights on this post, but i absolutely didn’t see this one coming
deleted a gofundme i shared earlier from @TheQuartering that the employee in the video apparently was unaware of and doesn’t want to be involved with https://twitter.com/mortalkomrat/status/1386829722454269952
it’s good that people are mad at tariq for sharing the video, but a distressing thing here is that the apathy for mental health issues is way more mainstream than extremists.

i saw it bc of freddie gibbs. people you know and love probably agree with the psycho who filmed it.
