#NCBA is aware of claims that President Biden’s #30x30 plan would call for a drastic restriction of beef consumption. Cattle & beef producers are rightfully concerned. At this time, President Biden has not called for reduction of beef production related to 30x30. (2/7)

We're staying in regular, proactive communication with @USDA and @Interior to emphasize the importance of the high-quality protein beef provides in the American diet, as well as producers' long history of environmental stewardship. (3/7)

In discussions specifically focused on #30x30, we have been clear that the plan *cannot* undermine the success of cattle producers’ voluntary conservation efforts or be used as a federal land grab. (4/7)

The full #30x30 proposal MUST recognize that farmers and ranchers across this country are the best advocates for soil health, wildlife habitat, and healthy natural resources. Their good, longstanding work should be rewarded – not penalized. (5/7)
