Dear people with #VaccineHesitancy:

I got my first vaccine dose two weeks ago. It was fine, no side effects that I noticed, getting the next dose Saturday. I want things to go back to normal, and I feel like getting the shots is best for my community and society at large.
Are you a #VaccineHesitancy island?

Because I bet you know plenty of people who have gotten the covid vaccine or want to get it.

I bet you consider them to be perfectly reasonable people.

And as millions of people around you get vaccines, I hope you'll see that it'll be OK.
It's also a privilege, at least in America, that you can get a vaccine right now.

India is desperate for them. The EU is suing manufacturers for not providing enough vaccines.

It's like voting — why wouldn't you do it if you can? It's a privilege you get for being American.
And finally about #VaccineHesitancy, a lot of you don't trust the vaccines — the ingredients, how they work, how fast they were made.

It's totally fine to have those concerns. But please don't ignore facts because they disprove your concerns. It's OK to change your mind.
Wait, actually one more late addition to this thread. I had #VaccineHesitancy when I first heard about these vaccines being developed. I said to my wife I didn’t want to be one of the first to get it because I wanted to see what happened. Now I’m one shot in and ready for no. 2!
