Sheriff showed the family 20 seconds of bodycam video.

The family's attorney did say that the sheriff was very apologetic after that interaction with the county attorney.

According to a family attorney who also viewed the 20 second video, deputies were shooting Brown as they approached his vehicle which was in his driveway, and his hands were on the steering wheel. He eventually backed up to get away from deputies who were shooting at him.

Brown was not armed and he did not back the vehicle towards any deputies.

Deputies continued to shoot at Brown while driving away. He ran into a pole a very short distance away - presumably from gunshot wounds.
