And honestly regardless of the obvious flub, the journalist's question was so inane and basic anyway. Why interpret Kaluuya's win in the context of "the state of the world at the moment" as opposed to his craftsmanship, talent, the story he was telling. Utterly dire.

Daniel Kaluuya absolutely could and should have gathered her, but I'm sure he realised that had he done so, his win would have been *completely* overshadowed by that interaction and that would have become The Story, instead of him just enjoying his win in peace. Exhausting.
