India is at cross roads.

While what once was thought to be impossible - Political Leadership being responsive - is no longer an improbability, Citizens have to make a call - Should we be responsible, disciplined, law abiding?

This change has to come from within 1/n
But to trust Citizens to change on their own is foolhardy. We saw what happened when they were trusted with wearing Masks and maintaining Covid Protocol

This change cannot happen by enforcing laws. God only knows that we have enough and more laws for any contingency 2/n
There has to be a systematic program at National Level

For a Start - Make Scouts & Guides, NCC Compulsory at Schools and Colleges. And let them done as they should be, and not just nam ke wasthe 3/n
Then - Let the youth - Age Group <25 undergo 1 year of Compulsory Military Training.

Let no one be allowed to work, if they have completed 25 years and have not completed the Military Training 4/n
Citizens in the Age group of 26 - 40 to be given Para Military Training for 2 Weeks a year for 5 years. This is considering they are working people, and hence cannot afford to lose income for a year at a stretch. They can definitely spare 2 weeks in a year 5/n
Those > 40 - Give them Mentorship Training, so that they may guide the younger generation and provide leadership. Retired Army Veterans, Sr Police Officers, Academicians can be used to impart this training
6/n
This way, in 25 years , we will have an efficient, disciplined, law abiding society

I am quite aware of the logistics, funds, resources and infrastructure required for this and am not tweeting irresponsibly.

The Challenges are massive

But it can be done, has to be done 7/n
