Seeing as it’s lesbian visibility week, here’s a thread of lesbophobic things that you shouldn’t do/say if you’re a nonlesbian

nonlesbians please read and retweet bc I’m tired of it
Generalizing us as “wlw/nblw”.
Calling a man or nonlesbian the “lesbian protector” if ur not a lesbian.
Calling a man a lesbian. If you’re not a lesbian don’t say it because it adds men to lesbianism when lesbianism will never include men
Calling yourself “half lesbian” if you’re Bi or Pan. Not only is it harmful to us but it’s harmful to your own sexuality too
Commenting under lesbian appreciation posts with things other than support(like “I’m not lesbian but thanks” etc)
Stereotyping all lesbians as “men haters”, we don’t all hate men.
Using the wrong flag. Use the flag below as the other one excludes trans and butch lesbians
Identifying as a “bi/Pan lesbian” as it includes liking men and lesbianism will never include men
Not supporting lesbians who use pronouns other than she/her / not supporting non-binary lesbians.
Telling a lesbian they’re not actually lesbian because they find a man attractive — this might be a shocker but people can find people attractive without it automatically meaning they wanna have sex with them.
Demonizing the word “lesbian” and treating it like a dirty word you’re not allowed to say if you’re a nonlesbian. It’s a sexuality not a slur.
