Asserting that the company should be a place where everyone "can come to work with colleagues of all backgrounds and political convictions without having to deal with heavy political or societal debates" ignores minoritized employees in favor of cis white ones.
Black lives are not political. Trans lives are not political.
Rhetoric like this emboldens those who are already in power and those who are trying to make them political.
