"We live in a society that doesn’t talk about abuse and assault. It’s hard enough to break the stigma when it happens to a woman.
“𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈’𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 because those are not the stories you hear.
We are constructed to believe women are always victims, and men are always predators. This may be one of the reasons why men never talk about when they are abused by women.
Thus, we created a survey to gain core insights from willing participants about
what happens when the abuse is a woman. The survey is entirely voluntary and confidential.
It builds upon the SCREAM Initiative’s principles of voice, accountability, collaboration, and protection.
