And again, people who had so much to still to give, who were loved and loved fiercely, who were making this country better, cruelly felled in their prime.

All preventable deaths. So much hurt and heartbreak. So many dreams, plans and life purposes thwarted. People left childless, widowed and orphaned when they could have had many more years with their beloveds. They deserved so much better.
