I'm VERY happy to see many more people talking about the damage antis, their mobs and callout posts have done. Many people have been speaking about this problem for so long and have been unheard or flat out ignored.

It's not an issue that can be swept away with 'touch grass..'

Even if you feel like you didn't contribute to what happened with Col//umbo and many others. You need to understand that when you light a match, more often than not you cannot control the burn. Twitter FEEDS on interaction, your callout post, harassing tweet can get picked up

By someone who WILL spread that tweet to another who WILL act on the 'threats'.

No, you may not have wanted Col//umbo to be outed and doxxed, you many not have wanted them to be in danger, you may have just wanted them to be held 'accountable' or just deactivate.

All of these things LED to Col//umbo's life being in VERY real danger.

Real people, purposefully, with malice nearly led to someone to be jailed or killed. That happened, you can't try to 'But I...' out of this truth.

You were a pebble on the pile, you added to the weight.

It doesn't matter if you're a 'minor', you're old enough to know this was wrong and plenty of adults joined in too.

You can try to say it was about ships, what they said, their art etc. None of that excuses or absolves you of responsibility of contributing to what happened.

So where do we go from here? Surely this will not stop future callouts/mob/doxxing. Especially when it provides results, a few of you will hide, lock, switch accts. And things will move on past this.

But there's a difference with this situation.

We have come to what I will lovingly call 'Anti Epoch' in which the victim of the latest attack (let's call it what it is) was of such a status that it is impossible to ignore the impact of their attack, their attackers and the fallout.

More people are speaking out.

Antis THRIVED in anonymity, they thrived and used their 'I'm a minor! uwu' card to get out of situations and for the most part people 'pitied' them. After all, they're kids, they don't know what they're doing.

But that's gone now. EVERYONE knows what Antis do is bullshit

Their cause is bullshit and nakedly transparent, we've gone from 'anyone with a Kirishima/Sanrio pfp is an Anti whatev.' to 'Oh look, that same pfp now has the ACAB/BLM in bio, obnoxious carrd, proshippers/fujos don't interact, is an Anti, they made a callout? Block/Report them.'

You made quite the mess of defanging 'Pedo/Fetishize/Groomer' terms for some time now. So people literally will ignore you because its about Bakudeku.

So now you switched tactics to NOW accusing those with 'Anti Black/Asian, Racism, Misgendering, homophobia' to get eyes.

Because those are 'hot' issues right now.

Make no mistake, ALL of those things I mentioned are very serious, they should be treated seriously, need to be discussed seriously.

But unlike Pedo before, people know your tactics. And will call you out and you don't know what to do.

Very few people will hide pfp/acct names, your friends will sell you out and send caps of your tweets to other people for 'Reverse Uno' callouts. Tweet threads speaking out are coming from lrg accts. Beloved creators are making statements on how batshit you are for you inability

To separate Real life from fiction and are harassing people because of that. The larger audience of 'normies' think you ALL are fucking weird and unhinged. Your goal of 'shaming the bad ones silent' has basically backfired on you.

You're not a hero.

And no one likes you.

No one wants you in their fanbases, supporting their shows, nothing. All you have is each other and time and again, you have already been eating each other for any slight.

People know and because of this, MORE people know. Enough to get #/ThankYouCol//umbo trending.

I never seen that happen. And while the tag was something positive for Col//umbo who really needed the support. I don't want to see a tag like this again...at least for something like this.

At the end, after all of this, for those that have offered support for Col//umbo

And many others like them, for gathering information, for taking caps as evidence, for having discussions, for people trying to reach Antis, even for Ex-Antis trying to do better. Thank you, thank you so much.

Fandom should be fun, it should be safe and right now its not.

Many victims of these campaigns are minors, many Antis have come from abusive and dangerous households. Threatening violence against them isn't the way, it never is.

But raising wider awareness of the harm they're doing under the guise of 'progressive and being woke' is.
