THREAD: How I would make new potential MCU Iron Man movie/show

It would've been set after Civil War and Homecoming, but before Infinity War. I would try to explore more of Tony's regrets and feelings about Avengers plus his complicated relationships with Howard.

The main villain would've been Doctor Doom and because of that the whole story would've been an adaptation of Doomquest storyline. To not destroy MCU continuity, I would make it like Tony and Doom back in the past and then return to the exact same time when they left.

I chose Doomquest and therefore Doctor Doom partially because of my love for that storyline and Tony's and Doom's great dynamic in the comics in general that I would love to see in the MCU. But most importantly, I want to show how different family tragedies affect people.

The story also would've been partially based on The Dream Machine and Resolutions because I really want to explore Tony's problems with alcohol and how it came from his father. But unlike the comics, instead of Carol would've been Peter.

While Peter and Tony relationships in the MCU are inspired by the comics, they are unique and actually better than comics. And I want to use it for story's advantage to show their complicated relationships even more.

I want to show how because of anxiety, Tony rejects even Peter's help in the beginning of the story, but eventually in the end, after the adventure with Doom, he gets feeling that he needs to apologize to Peter. Story will end on Tony saying "thank you" to Peter.

In visual terms, I would love the movie/show to be more bright (not too much tho) and grotesque than previous ones, so it would feel like a pure comic book.

I also would like to see the movie/show continue Iron Man 3's topic about who Tony is without his fancy tech and show Tony making several medieval armors or just change the one he used when he was travelling to the past with Doom.
