I’ve seen a lot of people recently using “manifestation” but i think a lot of times it is getting confused with prayer. Those of you who know me, know the power of manifestation.

When I was 10, I wrote a poem entitled I AM, about becoming a NFL Running Back. It came to pass!
In 2012 my poem was transformed into a beautiful piece of art by @johnturnerjr.
In my life, I’ve learned the power of prayer and of manifesting. But they are not the same. Like all relationships, we must invest in it not only with our time but with communication also.
This brings me to prayer, which is a conversation with Yah. Some speak daily, while others wait until the trauma is involved, but what truly is required is an open mind and a forgiving heart.
Like most relationships and the advancement of them, it's important to get to know one another: state our desires, share our fears, and reflect on the shortcomings while asking forgiveness where we have fallen short.
While manifesting is a powerful tool to co-create a life you want for yourself, the desires of our hearts constantly change and many times we short-change ourselves for worldly things that either get old or not suitable for our lives.
But many of us (including me) are stubborn about what we believe is best so we manifest and complain about the blessing when we received what we asked for.
In my final NFL season, I made it to the AFC Championship Game... oh so close to achieving the ultimate goal.
What I realize now is anything is possible with God’s grace, and trust that my steps are in order, even if I don’t feel deserving.

God didn't give you the spirit of fear. Be encouraged and keep going.
My conclusion: write it down and make it plain.
