This, incidentally, was the view from the kitchen of my Moscow apartment when I lived there a couple of years ago. The Metro was a five minute walk from my front door, and in 25 minutes I was in central Moscow.
A few more pictures. There were outdoor gyms dotted around, as well as covered seating areas and, in the park, barbecues — all free to use by the public, of course. And, yes, an equestrian centre.
