The Church can’t preach and say it’s teaching.

Using Relationship and Sexual Education (RSE) to push and promote a religious agenda is just plain wrong. There’s been a lot of talk around ‘Flourish’, developed by the Irish Bishops Conference which includes prayers (1/3)
& guidelines which states that the church stance that “marriage between a man and a woman cannot be omitted" & this is permitted because religious ethos can affect the content of RSE. If you're thinking just go to school that isn’t under Catholic-ethos that's near impossible(2/3)
89% of all primary schools come under Catholic-ethos, so very few parents have the option. While parents are able to have their child opt out of RSE, where's the positive right?

All students have a right to an equal & comparable RSE curriculum no matter what school they are in.
