The French and the US turned the rest of the Caribbean against us EVEN THOUGH WE HELPED THOSE SAME ISLANDS BECOME FREE. Just so they could be justified in their hatred and continue to shit on us.

And then the US blamed Haitian immigrants for the AIDS epidemic with zero basis only later to find out it originated from a white French pilot. They’ve literally hated us from the jump.
