Hey, so this book I wrote is going to published in Germany (in German) this summer and I& #39;d love to tell you all about it because I am very proud of it. It& #39;s called Freundschaft kommt auf leichten Füßen (Friendship Comes on Light Feet) and here& #39;s the cover! Shall we do a little

It& #39;s about Finding Your Feet, because being a Work-In-Progress isn& #39;t something to be ashamed of. It& #39;s about breaking out of the moulds that you are assigned by your peers; you can be Sporty even if you are Scary. You can be Posh even if you feel like a Baby.
I wrote it because I wish someone had told me when I was in school that you can Learn To Run. That the things that don& #39;t come naturally to you are still yours for the taking. Practice doesn& #39;t have to make perfect and participation is not by invitation only.
The girls in my novel are striking out in secret - they& #39;re stepping out of their comfort zones to defy Their Own Expectations, and although they start their journeys separately, they discover true friendship on the wobbly path to their true selves.
I& #39;ll keep this thread open so I can tell you some more about my beloved girls and share some extracts (in English). I& #39;m so happy this book is going to meet its audience with Carlsen, translated by Fabienne Pfeiffer. https://www.carlsen.de/softcover/freundschaft-kommt-auf-leichten-fussen/978-3-551-58431-1">https://www.carlsen.de/softcover...
