Zhongli kissed down Kaeya’s neck, ”The marks you leave on each other... remind me of the dappled sunlight and shadows from beneath a tree. The energy of young love and summer go so well together, don’t you think?”

Kaeya’s used to being Mondstat’s number one charmer but the poetic way Zhongli speaks gets him flustered speechless. Words die in his throat and escape him in a choked whimper.

It didn’t escape Zhongli’s attention. He leaned in to nuzzle their noses together then gave Kaeya a kiss on the forehead with the fondest laugh

“And now you’re turning red, like leaves in autumn.”
