Insane to me that people think feminism has “won” and wasn’t simply co-opted when I’ve literally had doctors tell me “I don’t know, there’s just not a lot of literature about women’s bodies. Have you tried hormonal birth control?”

I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to say that feminism isn’t being able to be messy in public, or being free from critique. It’s also not being able to scale the corporate ladder.

It should be focused on safety from physical violence, healthcare, and safety for mothers.

It goes without saying, I think women should have the freedom to pursue whatever lifestyle feels authentic to them. But to ignore that women entering the workforce and being independent is fundamentally an attempt to protect them from domestic violence is so confusing.
