*✿❀ Rating flowers I use every day as a florist: a thread ❀✿*
I don& #39;t think it& #39;s the flowers thread you were expecting, but I did this.
Just a little something before we start, some flowers english names might be wrong. I tried my best, but I only know the french and latin names, sorry ^^
❀ Alstromeria: alstromeria - peruvian lily
~
If I could not use these I would. It& #39;s funny because they either look beautiful or ugly, no in between
5/10
❀ Anthirrhium flavidus: muflier- snapdragon
~
It& #39;s a little complicated to use them because they are really long, but they& #39;re so pretty.
Definitely one of my favorite flowers
9/10
❀ Anthurium andreanum: anthurium
~
I love this plant so much, but I& #39;m scared to use the flowers in bouquets or "des compositions florales" , so I just avoid it
8/10
✿ Aspidistra elatior: aspidistra - cast iron plant
~
I use this literally all the time, it& #39;s a nice looking foliage. Not a fan of it but it& #39;s useful
7/10
❀ Celosia cristata: celosie crête de coq - cockscomb
~
It looks like a brain, I like it
7/10
❀ Chamaelaucium unciatum: wax flower - geraldton wax
~
Someone asks my boss to buy more of these, please.
It& #39;s a little weird looking, but I love it, and it smells like citrus!
9/10
❀ Chrysanthemum: chrysanthème - mums
~
I know french people hate chrysanthemums, but I love them so much. There& #39;s so many kind with different shapes, colors and names. I love it
9/10
❀ Dianthus barbatus: œillet-carnation
~
Another flower french people love to hate. I know there& #39;s a whole story behind, but come on, they are beautiful!
8/10
✿ Eucalyptus
~
Prettiest foliage, you can& #39;t change my mind on that. If i could only use this, I swear I would. There& #39;s a lot of Eucalyptus, but the Parvifolia is definitely my favorite, and it smells good
10/10
❀ Eustoma russelianum: lisianthus
~
People keep calling these roses when they& #39;re not. It& #39;s really funny.
I don& #39;t understand how you could mistake them with roses since they& #39;re so small.
It& #39;s a cute flower. I like it
7/10
✿ Gaultheria shallon: salal
~
Boring, just boring.
Why is it always dirty...
3/10
❀ Gerbera jamesonii: gerbera (daisy)
~
If you& #39;re french and you call these "des marguerites" i will hurt you.
Some florists refuse to work with gerberas, which is understandable, but they& #39;re still pretty
6/10
❀ Gypsophila: gypsophile - baby& #39;s breath
~
I don& #39;t like pink, but pink baby& #39;s breath is prettier.
It& #39;s always useful. I mostly use it to fill voids in "compositions florales"
6/10
❀ Helianthus: tournesol - sunflower
~
One of my favorite flowers ever. Sunflowers are beautiful, I love them so much! This shade of yellow is gorgeous. And if you don& #39;t know already, yellow is my favorite color!
10/10

~
How can a flower be this pretty.
Take me to Japan, please. They have the prettiest hydrangeas here.
10/10
❀ Lilium: lys - lily
~
I& #39;m sorry but it smells awful, I hate it.
One of my colleague once said it smells like "des pâtes au jambon" and I can& #39;t stop thinking about it
3/10
❀ Limonium sinuatum: statice - wavyleaf sea lavender
~
I love it. The texture of the flowers is weird but they are really pretty
9/10
❀ Matthiola incana: giroflée - brompton stock
~
They are on the favorite flowers list too! I just love long flowers for some reason
❀ Paeonia: pivoine - peony
~
I hate peonies.
Gentlemen listen; i know it& #39;s your girlfriends& #39; favorite flower, but please stop asking if we have peonies every fucking day, thank you.
❀ Rosa: rose
~
Cleaning hundreds, maybe thousands of roses every tuesdays in a basement makes me wanna k word myself.
The ones from Ecuador are the only valid ones
5/10
❀ Tulipa: tulipe-tulip
~
Stop mistreating your tulips, please! Just a little bit of water is enough, no need to drown them.
7/10
✿ Xerophyllum: bear grass
~
I wanna slap someone with it, don& #39;t ask why.
I have so many scars on my hands because of that shit
6/10
Well, I guess it& #39;s the end of the thread since Twitter won& #39;t let me had more, and I think there& #39;s enough.
I took some of the pictures in the thread. So maybe i& #39;ll start posting more flower pictures here because I love taking close pictures like the first hydrangea one ^^
