The decade long war for Hinduism by the Chauhans of Jalor:
The Chahamana dynasty was a long lasting ruling dynasty of Delhi-Ajmer. After defeat by Ghori in 1192, it survived in several branches for a century more, one of which was Jalor.
Let's learn about them. The start is the usual depressing: they watched as their sister kingdoms were gobbled up by Khilji. Then, they refused Khilji march through their kingdom b/c he was going to attack Somnath
The protection of our H Gods was enough for them to start this fight against vastly superior enemy. This shows our strength as H's---our Gods are veryvery important to us.
As the moorthy of Somnath was being carried away, the Jalor Chauhan king Kanha even rescued it once, and reinstated it.
The war dragged 9 years! A tiny kingdom against mighty of Delhi sultanate under its greatest sultan. The H's fought for their religion.
The end is again as depressing as the start. Once more, a traitor was found in our ranks. I won't bother to go into the end beyond this today. Tomorrow I will cover the final end.
I had promised @daleep4 Sir to post and my friend @Agastayaa (both Rajputs), and I am doing so.
If I find any of the "Rajputs vs X" ppl RTing this, I'm going to be mad. I am a Hindu unity wali. I don't post material to be used by dividers.
