The funny thing is that the only people actually doing something to fight the security challenges we face in this country are the government and the security agencies. The rest of us just critic on social media from our comfort zones.
These are challenges that we have never faced before as a country, this level of terrorism. So it& #39;s mostly just tweaking of ideas as we go by the people in charge. Admittedly, success in defeating this evil has been hard to come by due largely to failure of leadership.
However, the rest of us stay demonizing the people putting in the work and name calling them. Even tagging them terrorists, saboteurs, morons, etc. Worse still, some are constantly on this ill thought deriding of our military despite their sacrifices.
Take for example during GEJ. He was constantly dragged and called sponsor of Boko Haram. The same thing is happening with Buhari now. Our soldiers who sacrifice their lives are derided when they are attacked by terrorists by people sitting in their homes and pressing phones.
My point is not that we shouldn& #39;t critic government and the folks making these decisions. My position is we can do better not to derided our soldiers and make unfounded accusations like tagging government folks terrorists sponsors. Let& #39;s be more factual!
I hope people don& #39;t read the first tweet and stop to comment but actually get to the end of the thread!
