There’s a Douban thread talking about how Gong Jun must be a super warm-hearted person because in a lot of videos taken outside of filming, he’s very caring of those around him:

First, anytime he had to get his makeup retouched, he’d very naturally squat down to accommodate.

During the scene with White Grim Reaper, in a place where the camera wouldn’t see, Gong Jun was using his arm to support the actor, hoping to make him a bit more comfortable

(T/N: being harnessed up is very tiring and quite uncomfortable)

During the Tiffany event, while taking an interview, Gong Jun super naturally widened his stance and squatted (looking good on red carpet be damned) in order to accommodate the smaller height of the lady who was holding the mic (who told him it was ok and boy was she whipped )

During the scene with the Beggar Sect, the stunt extra hit his head on the pavement while falling and Gong Jun’s immediate reaction was to cradle his head and call for help.

During the KFC livestream, the female host had oil on her hands from holding the burger and didn’t have time to wipe her hands before presenting a product. Gong Jun very naturally handed her a tissue for her to wipe her hands.

While filming in Xiamen, a fan brought their daughter. Because it was raining and the ground was slippery, Gong Jun would keep looking back at the child, afraid that she’ll slip and fall, and even though he doesn’t accept gifts from fans, he used both hands to accept her flowers.

During his latest appearance on Happy Camp, he was competing against Yang Di and when Yang Di fell from the platform, Gong Jun’s first reaction was to protect Yang Di’s head to prevent it from hitting the platform

Also, during the mystery box challenge, he proactively asked if anyone wanted to switch with him (if they were scared/worried about their box) and after the game was over, he quietly cleaned up the mess on the table.

After he finished filming for the day in Xiamen, the little girl was there again and kept calling out to him “Gong Jun! Gong Jun-gege!” and you could see him smiling and he kept looking back at her

GJ’s such a good person and the thing is, he’s been this way since even before he became more popular so you know he’s just a genuinely precious bean that deserves all the best in the world
