I really want to know the exact reasoning of western countries who are hoarding vaccines at this point in time- what are they thinking? Seriously they know very well that if enough people aren’t vaccinated soon enough, the virus will keep mutating and

whatever protection they have from the current vaccine will go down the drain. Then their economies will suffer again and they will have to, again, pump billions of $$ into pharma companies to further the research on & manufacturing of vaccines for mutated versions.

So what the fuck are they thinking? That this will not reach them again? What kind of short term memory loss is this. They well know how easily this virus spread and what kind of havoc it has been wreaking. Why in the world then are they risking that devastation again?

What kind of power does big pharma hold on these countries? Not only are these countries letting millions of people in the global south die but they are also choosing an option that will eventually be super harmful to them too. So, again, what the fuck is their reason?!
