I'm really glad I saw a video of this, I recently was thinking about how so many people just hate others irrationally and about how I am myself when it comes to hate. Its so much easier to just accept people for who they are and not default to disliking others baselessly. https://twitter.com/ABC/status/1386508262724489220
I wondered to myself how people could just hate someone based on being a certain race, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. and it just doesn't make sense. Anyone who tries to give base for something like that never has any rationality behind it and just chooses to bring others down.
Making a conscious decision to do something negative to someone for no reason is just so alien to me. How can people not have the empathy or compassion to try to comprehend what they're doing to another human being?
There are people who have continuously wronged me and people who have just relentlessly tried to bring me down for no reason and even when I think about it I can't bring myself to legitimately hate someone no matter what they've done. That may be a flaw but I'm content with it.
I would add more on to this thread but I don't want to get more personal about it so I think I will leave it at that.
