I know everyone is worried with the recent new regarding OffTay. But can we calm down and take a little step back pls?
I understand your concern, and that is valid. I am too. And I also understand that people deal with such news differently. And that’s ok. ++

As someone who has probably been facing COVID more often than many of you, I’d like to reassure you that for most people, COVID is just like any flu. It can be mild, but sometimes it can get worse.
I’m not downplaying it, but for the most part many people recover from it. ++

There ARE occasions in which it can cause serious illness, which is why it is still lethal.

Making a full recovery. As fans, all we can do is pray for them, and send them our well wishes and let them know that we are here to support them.
That is perhaps one of the biggest comfort they can get from us.
We are alr fortunate enough that they are updating us. ++

Now, I have been seeing several disturbing tw saying that if they just stayed at home and didn’t go on holiday, they probably wouldn’t get COVID.
Whilst you do have a point, it is also daft. You guys need to grow up and rethink your thoughts before tweeting. ++

IT IS NOONE’S FAULT WHEN THEY GET COVID.
Please don’t blame them. Having the disease is stressful enough, and you ranting about it doesn’t help. Need I remind you they follow tags?
COVID generally has an incubation period of 2-14 days. For all we know they might’ve not++

Gotten it from their holiday. Who are you to judge them? A person could be staying at home for the most part of the pandemic, and that ONE TIME they went out to do errands, they can easily contract it.
So calm down kids. Think rationally before you speak. ++

I repeat, GETTING COVID IS NEVER SOMEONE’S FAULT. You will never know when you will get it. You can be as careful as you want, and still get it. I hope ya’ll understand that.
Lastly, I admire that you are all kind souls and are worried about them. But perhaps, ++

Ya’ll should be more worried about thins closer to home- yourselves. You’re not impervious to it either.
As much as many of us would like to stay at home too, we can’t. But if you can, please do.
Wear your masks and face shields PROPERLY. NO CHEATING. ++

Avoid crowded places. Maintain social distancing when you can’t.
Wash your hands properly.
Always think you have the virus. Not the other way around.
Think of how to NOT spread it. And not about how you WON’T catch it.
Stay safe everyone.
