THREAD: Court decides at 345pm whether to hold US Capitol riot defendant Alex Harkrider of Texas in jail

Harkrider is accused of carrying a *tomahawk* onto Capitol grounds on Jan. 6...and of walking the streets of DC on Jan 5 saying "“there’s going to be a f**ing war tomorrow"

In his request for release from jail, Harkrider says he was cooperative, "even helpful" to police during his arrest. He says the tomahawk was small.

*And* the military vet indicates he was following "his commander's" (Trump's) instructions that day ==>

Justice Dept says Harkrider discussed his excitement for battle at the Capitol on Jan. 6

Feds accuse Harkrider of being on the frontlines of mob.

They say this image shows him passing a long a chemical spray cannister to others.
