i've been thinking a lot lately about how the archivist being afab is such a widespread trend in the fandom these days, and i... actively prefer him being amab. which seems Less Woke! except it's bc i love the idea of him being nb AND comfortable presenting as his agab, like me.

is it Better? is it More or Less Woke and Valid? would not matter even if there was an objective answer to that, but just saying, if you see amab jon around don't assume it's coming from Uninformed cluelessness or transphobia to just not follow a common fanon.
