When I think back to my time playing ball, there was one main thing that separated the great players from the good ones. The great players learned to excel at the tasks nobody else wanted to do.

Even if you love your job, there are responsibilities involved which no one likes or wants to do. What separates you from the competition and your piers is you do the work anyway, regardless how much you may dislike it.

You want to get ahead? It’s pretty simple. Learn to do the little things well that no one else wants to do.
